The desert is about to get a lot shorter, sweeter and swaggier thanks to the newly announced headliners for the 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival.
Sabrina Carpenter, Justin Bieber and Karol G are set to headline the famous fest, which will take place over two weekends — April 10-12 and April 17-19, 2026 — in Indio, California.
Coachella announced the lineup on Tuesday September 16, noting that passes will go on sale Friday, September 19.
“Hard launch,” read a caption shared via the festival’s Instagram account alongside a poster of the full lineup.
Carpenter, 26, will headline both Fridays, which will also feature performances from Teddy Swims, Ethel Cain, Katseye, Sexyy Red, CMAT, Dijon, Blood Orange and others. Bieber, 31, will appear on Saturday, along with the Strokes, Addison Rae, Sombr, David Byrne and many more. Finally, Karol G, 34, will take over on Sunday with artists including Young Thug, Laufey, Iggy Pop, Clipse, Wet Leg, FKA Twigs and Gigi Perez.
Carpenter made her Coachella debut in 2024 shortly after the release of her hit single “Espresso,” which has been inescapable ever since. During one of her famous “Nonsense” outros at the event, the Grammy winner quipped, “Coachella, see you back here when I headline” — and now that manifestation has come true.
Bieber, meanwhile, has never actually been an official performer at Coachella, although he has appeared as a surprise guest during other artists’ sets multiple times. His addition comes as a huge delight to Beliebers, who have seen very few live performances from him since he canceled the remainder of his Justice World Tour in 2022 as he dealt with health struggles.
In June of that year, the “Baby” singer was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which left half his face paralyzed, following a yearslong battle with Lyme disease.
“This is pretty serious as you can see,” he told fans in an Instagram video at the time, showing how his ability to move other parts of his face was impacted. “I wish this wasn’t the case. But obviously my body is telling me I need to slow down.”

While Bieber has mostly stayed away from the stage since then, he made his triumphant return to music this year with the release of Swag in July followed by Swag II less than two months later.
After the first Swag dropped, an insider exclusively told Us Weekly that Bieber was “more relaxed” after he saw the enthusiastic response to the album.
“He felt a lot of pressure hanging over him and has been in a better mental headspace these last few weeks,” the source explained last month. “He is very happy there have been positive reviews of the album and that fans like it.”
