Sabrina Carpenter’s impressive six-show streak in Los Angeles kicked off on Sunday, and last night, the crowd got an extra special treat. During her famous “Juno” performance—where she’s known to pick an A-lister or two to “arrest” for being “too hot”—she handed over two pairs of fluffy pink handcuffs to none other than the Fanning sisters, some of the most enthusiastic “victims” Carpenter has ever had. Joining the likes of Anne Hathaway, Nicole Kidman, Gigi Hadid, and Millie Bobby Brown, Elle and Dakota Fanning eagerly accepted their fate, holding out their wrists to be taken away.
“It’s like, one of you is cute, but two though!” Carpenter shouted, reworking her lyrics to fit the occasion. “This feels like a match made in heaven.”
“Are you guys okay with jail? It’s like very brief and minimum time and it’s just because you’re so beautiful,” she continued, dropping her skirt in her signature quick-change reveal.
Dakota, in a lacy pale-pink slip dress, and Elle, in a coordinating blue variation, nodded eagerly as the crowd cheered.
The LA shows mark the end to Carpenter’s Short n’ Sweet Tour, which kicked off back in September 2024 and has since traveled all around the United States, Canada, and Europe. In the time between, the artist reworked the setlist to incorporate tracks from her newest album, Man’s Best Friend, and debuted fresh on-stage bodysuits and babydoll dresses alike (including, of course, her iconic Halloween costumes). With only four dates left, we can’t wait to see who gets arrested next.
