It’s time to refresh your playlist with some exciting new releases!
The last New Music Friday of August 2025 brings us a wave of exciting music. Sabrina Carpenter drops her seventh studio album, Man’s Best Friend, via Island Records. Produced by Jack Antonoff and John Ryan—who also contributed to her previous album Short n’ Sweet (2024)—the project is released alongside the new single “Tears.” The album’s lead single, “Manchild,” was a massive success. It debuted earlier this summer and reached the top of both the Billboard Hot 100 and the UK Singles Chart.
Eminem’s documentary Stans—focused on his most passionate fans—is accompanied by the official soundtrack. The film premiered at SXSW London and saw a limited theatrical release in August. The soundtrack includes familiar hits like “Rap God,” deep cuts from The Eminem Show, and previously unreleased material. Of particular note is the single “Everybody’s Looking at Me,” which reworks a soulful freestyle Eminem performed in 2002, updated with new verses and streamlined production.
