On Sunday, pop star Sabrina Carpenter shared some photos from her recent holiday in the snow-covered countryside on Instagram. She also offered her fans a look at some of her outfits for New Year’s Eve, which were glittery, sheer, and pretty much perfect.
In one picture, Carpenter is wearing a sleeveless dress with a knee-length skirt. It was covered in strategically placed silver appliqué across completely sheer fabric. The singer posed for a mirror selfie to show off the look, which revealed her matching white bra and panty set. She was posing in a large room lined with wood, several throw pillows and blankets on the ground.
She also shared a few photos of another outfit she appears to have worn to a party, a gold fringe dress with a micro skirt, mock turtleneck, and diamond cutouts across her torso. The artist was moving to display the texture of the fabric as it swayed.
Carpenter also shared some ensembles from outside, wandering through the wintry landscape with friends. In one picture, Carpenter wore a bubblegum pink coat over an all-black ensemble with a short black skirt and black leather gloves. In another, she wore an over-sized white parka with black pants and a big soft beanie. And in a different indoor look, Carpenter wore a white minidress with belled sleeves and a pair of white knee-high heeled boots.
With her 2025 album Man’s Best Friend, Carpenter explored themes around relationships and growth. While speaking to Interview in July, Carpenter described her romantic type as “man children,” adding her recent relationships have taught her a lot.
“That’s the thing I’m trying to get across—it’s not just those people finding you, it’s you allowing them to find you,” she explained. “It’s taking accountability, like, ‘Oh, damn, my type always leaves me in distress.’ But in reality, I’m allowing myself to be left in distress. I’ve been going through that the way I’m supposed to right now. I’m young-woman-ing the way that I need to young-woman at this very moment. I can’t speak for myself in a few years, but right now I think I’m supposed to be learning from mistakes and finding light in the fact that not everything works out sunshine and rainbows. You know?”
