Salman Khan wells up seeing Dharmendra posted in ‘Ikkis’ event
Ikkis, the new biographical war drama starring Amitabh Bachchan’s grandson, Agastya Nanda, marks the unplanned final film of legendary actor Dharmendra.
The special screening for the movie was held in Mumbai on Monday, December 29, where a stream of actors was seen hitting the red carpet.
Salman Khan, who has been one of Dharmendra’s close ones, also made his presence at the event.
A paparazzi video recorded at the event showed the Sultan actor becoming emotional after glancing at the late actor’s poster at the screening.
As Salman posed for photographers, his gaze fell on the poster, tears glistening in his eyes. The bond he shared with the veteran actor ran deep, and both the film industry and his family are still grappling with the loss.
Ikkis, being the star’s final film, holds a profoundly special place in the hearts of those closest to him.
Dharmendra’s sons, Bobby Deol and Sunny Deol, were also seen at the screening. Meanwhile, Bollywood veteran Rekha appeared dolled up to shower her love for Bachchan’s grandson, Agastya.
Ikkis will hit Indian theatres on January 1, 2026.
