SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — San Angelo is celebrating the release of Taylor Swift’s 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” with movie showings and midnight releases.
The album will drop on Oct. 3, as said by Swift on the “New Heights“ podcast, hosted by her fiancé, Travis Kelce, and his brother Jason.
San Angelo’s Target, located at 4235 Sunset Drive, will extend its hours on Thursday, Oct. 2. The store usually closes at 10 p.m. on Thursdays, but will be open until 1 a.m., and at midnight, the album CDs and vinyl variants will be brought out and available for customers to purchase.
Customers can be in the building during the extended period, but the album will not be available until midnight.
Beginning at 2 p.m. on Oct. 3, San Angelo’s Cinemark Tinseltown and Icon Cinema will premiere “The Official Release Party of a Showgirl.”
As stated by both websites, the premiere will include the music video for “The Fate of Ophelia”, and “behind-the-scenes footage from the music video shoot, brand new lyric videos, and Taylor’s never-before-seen personal reflections on songs from the album.”
The cinema showings will run exclusively from Oct. 3 to Oct. 5.
