Sara Evans is officially a grandma!
The country singer’s daughter Audrey welcomed her first baby, a boy, with her boyfriend John Headley, sharing the news on her Instagram. In her post, Audrey and her little one can be seen snuggling up together, with her baby boy clutching her finger.
Other photos show Audrey and her son right after she gave birth, lying side-by-side in the hospital bed. She also shared photos from later on, nestled next to her baby.
“Welcome to the world our perfect angel. 9/29/2025. John Evans Headley. 7lbs 4oz. Thank you Jesus🤍,” she wrote in her caption.

Evans also shared a few photos on her Instagram with her grandson when she met him for the first time.
“Meet our grandson! We are so blessed! @audreyeevans_ @johnheadley.19 we are so thrilled for you and proud of you!” the musician wrote in her caption. “I can’t even put this into words! Granny and Grandaddy! We are obsessed! 🩵🩵🩵he is the most beautiful baby! Praise God!!!!!!!”
This past April, Audrey announced the exciting news that she was pregnant exclusively with PEOPLE. At the time, she told PEOPLE she’s “honored to step into motherhood.”
“We are beyond joyful and deeply grateful to God for this incredible blessing,” Audrey told PEOPLE. “I am honored to step into motherhood and embrace everything that comes with it. We feel so lucky to have such a tight-knit family who we know will surround us — John, the baby, and me — with endless love and support.”
She also shared that she wasn’t the only one excited to meet her little one. As the new addition is Sara’s first grandchild, the country star said she was “already so in love” with the bundle of joy.
“Words cannot express how excited and happy I am for Audrey and John!” said Sara. “I am already so in love with my grandchild and can’t wait to meet the little angel! God is so amazing!”
