Despite their 1996 divorce, Sarah Ferguson and Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor lived together for decades at Royal Lodge. However, in the wake of more information being released about their connection to Jeffrey Epstein, King Charles III stripped them both of their titles and removed them from the estate. “They are both spending a lot of time alone. Andrew rarely goes out and has been padding around the lodge and ranting and muttering,” a second source told the publication about their final days at the property. “Andrew and Sarah are leading separate lives — at different ends and on different wings. But they come together quite often for lunch and dinner, and this is where they talk about their futures. They have been heard having some pretty intense conversations about what is going on. Sarah, in particular, is panicking about what comes next and she is not in a good place.”

In another message from August 3, 2009, Sarah Ferguson wrote to Jeffrey Epstein, “I have never been more touched by a friend’s kindness than your compliment to me in front of my girls [Princess Beatrice and Princess Eugenie]. Thank you, Jeffrey, for being the brother I have always wished for.”
