On Feb. 26, 2025, Gossip Girl and Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Michelle Trachtenberg passed away at the age of 39. One year later, her Buffy co-star, Sarah Michelle Gellar, didn’t forget to pay tribute.
The duo worked together on Buffy the Vampire Slayer starting in Season 5, when Trachtenberg was introduced as Dawn Summers, Buffy’s sister. Before that, they had worked together on All My Children, and Gellar mentioned the “years of memories” they shared in her thoughtful tribute.
