Savannah Guthrie Posts New Update About Her Missing Mom

Savannah Guthrie’s mom, Nancy, has been reported missing since January 31.

The TV host has been on hiatus from the Today show amid the ongoing investigation.

Savannah’s Today co-stars emotionally supported her after posting her latest update about Nancy’s whereabouts on Instagram.

It’s been two weeks since Savannah Guthrie was last on the Today show, and she’s giving fans a clue about what’s going on.

In early February, folks learned that Savannah’s mother, Nancy Guthrie, had been reported missing from her Tucson, Arizona, home. As the situation has escalated into an FBI investigation, the news anchor has been keeping her social media followers updated on its status.

Even though there have been multiple reports about the case, Savannah went on Instagram to share her own words about finding Nancy. As she posted a video of herself bare-faced and talking to the camera, she asked her followers to help her family in any way they could.

“Bring her home,” she wrote in the caption alongside the clip on February 15. “It’s never too late to do the next right thing.”

As soon as Savannah posted her emotional video on social media, her Today co-stars sent her love and support.

“We believe 🙏 ❤️,” Savannah’s former co-anchor Hoda Kotb wrote in the comments. “We believe and we are with you, your family and most of all, Nancy,” Al Roker added.

Fans were quick to rally around Savannah as she and her family go through this difficult time.

“🙏 So much love and support behind you and your family 🙏,” one person penned. “I’m so sorry for what you’re going through. I hope your mom is returned to you and your family quickly and safely,” another agreed. “You are a courageous woman and I pray for you and your family—especially your sweet mama,” a different follower replied.

Savannah shared that she has hope that Nancy will be found safe and sound.

“Our lovely mom. 💛,” she wrote alongside an Instagram video featuring Nancy just days earlier on February 12. “We will never give up on her. Thank you for your prayers and hope.”
