Cummings’ journey into acting began in 1998 when he received his first role as a background actor in the movie, “The Gingerbread Man”, which was filmed in Savannah. In 2014, worked on “Magic Mike XXL” which he says reignited his passion for the craft. From there, he became more involved in the industry—attending acting mixers, taking classes, and participating in SCAD student films to sharpen his skills and build my experience.
Cummings’ first SAG role came unexpectedly while working on “Killerman” where he started out as a background actor and was bumped up to a SAG role during production. Since then, he’s appeared in a variety of film and television projects, including: “ATL Homicide”, “Clean Slate”, “The Florida Girls” TV series, “Emperor”, “Halloween Ends”, and most recently, “Beauty in Black”, a Tyler Perry series on Netflix, where he portrays Judge Harold Wiscollins.
