Kristin Scott Thomas stars as the titular mother, who’s tying the knot for the third time in the English countryside. Her three daughters, who’ve gone in very different directions — Katherine (Scarlett Johansson) is a captain in the Royal Navy, about to take command of an aircraft carrier; Victoria (Sienna Miller) is a Hollywood star; and Georgina (Emily Beecham) is a hospice nurse.
Now they’ve returned home for the celebration. Cue the sisterly spats and much soul searching about their own love lives. A very watchable mix of drama and comedy, My Mother’s Wedding is worth RSVPing yes for.
