The comment appears in a scene where Sarah Paulson’s character, Carrington Lane, meets with her client, Chase Munroe, portrayed by Matthew Noszka. He is seeking legal counsel ahead of his divorce from Allura Grant, the role played by Kim Kardashian.
During their conversation, Carrington comments on Munroe’s appearance, saying, “I am sorry, I have to be real here. What is happening with your hair? Your goddamn grease helmet.” She adds, “It looks like an oil slick.” When Munroe says that he washes his hair regularly, she follows up by asking about Combs’ alleged gatherings. The episode’s line aired months after Combs’ legal proceedings concluded. In July, he was acquitted of charges related to sex trafficking and racketeering. However, he was convicted on two counts of prostitution. A federal judge subsequently sentenced him in October 2025 to 50 months in prison, along with a $500,000 fine and mandatory participation in mental-health and substance-abuse programs.
