Sebastian Maniscalco may have a doppelgänger following last night’s Saturday Night Live episode.
In a sketch starring the show’s host Glen Powell,SNL cast member Marcello Hernandez parodied the famed comedian, playing an unexpected, longtime friend of Powell’s character, Dave, and quickly stole everyone’s attention.
Hernandez, who has been on SNL since 2022, perfectly captured the comedian’s signature mannerisms and voice, along with a grey wig to top off the look, so much so that Maniscalco himself couldn’t help but weigh in.

On Sunday morning the comedian took to social media, commenting his seal of approval of on an Instagram Reel of the sketch.
“Nailed it,” the comedian wrote.
He also shared the sketch on his own Instagram stories and added, “You gotta be kidding me, @marcellohdz.”
Other commenters also couldn’t help but express how on point Hernandez’s impression was.
“Love Marcello! Best skit of the night!” one wrote.
“His impression is PERFECT,” another added.
“Marcello is a star,” wrote a third of the 28-year-old.

The young comedian, 28, is no stranger to celebrity impressions as he’s parodied artist Bad Bunny, baseball player Juan Soto, and Secretary of State Marco Rubio.
Saturday night’s musical guest was singer Olivia Dean.
