Highlights of the upcoming Peace Center season
The Peace Center is elevating the benchmark on entertainment this year. Rock and blues legends Gary Clark Jr., Kenny Wayne Shepherd, and ZZ Top are among season highlights. Storytelling from the Indigo Girls with Linda Perry, soul music from Keb’ Mo’, and country jams from Daniel Donato are on the schedule, along with internationally acclaimed Angelique Kidjo and Gullah-rooted American Patchwork. Celebrity culinary master Ina Garten, astrophysicist Neil deGrasse Tyson, and comedian Rodney Carrington are also set to take the stage.
Other highlights to consider booking your ticket for include surreal choreography from Momix, the Pilobulus acrobatic show, and Italy’s NoGravity Theatre. For an evening of unforgettable neo-soul, you won’t want to miss Brandon Cook, a Grammy and Emmy Award-winning instrumentalist. Powerhouses Midori & Festival Strings Lucerne will both rock the stage for one special night.
Nashville songwriter Maia Sharp will be featured in the Peace Center’s monthly song sessions. She will perform with the likes of Greenville artist Edwin McCain and Noah Guthrie, Irmo, South Carolina native Kyshona, and western North Carolina’s David Wilcox and Mason Via.
