Selena Gomez and fiancé Benny Blanco announced their engagement in December 2024. Sources told TMZ this week that it looks like the big day is now coming before the end of September 2025.
The insider also told the online publication that the wedding is supposed to be held in the Montecito and Santa Barbara area of Southern California, but the pair is trying so hard to keep things quiet that not even their guests are exactly sure where the venue is yet.
On August 28, Gomez signaled that the marriage was imminent when she posted an Instagram carousel of photos from her bachelorette party in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. In the pics, she wore a number of white bridal looks, including a pearl halter minidress with a Lulus veil and a Cult Gaia long-sleeve floral appliqué dress. Her decor included gold balloon letters spelling out “BRIDE” and “MRS LEVIN,” referring to Blanco’s given surname.
A source told Us Weekly that “it was a very fun but chill weekend. These girls have been close to her for over a decade now, so it meant the world to her to celebrate these moments with them.”
According to the source, the group enjoyed “private dinners with a chef and a villa to themselves with plenty of lounging in the sun,” adding that Gomez’s “girlfriends went out of their way to make Selena feel really special.”
The source continued, “It was your typical, traditional bachelorette and what Selena wanted. She was radiating all weekend and was so happy to have downtime with her girlfriends. Selena is a simple girl, and the little things go a long way with her. She truly exudes happiness when she talks about Benny. She is very excited to start this next chapter with him.”
