Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco’s Wedding Is This Weekend (Excl)

Selena Gomez is about to become a married woman.

The pop star’s wedding to fiancé Benny Blanco is set for this weekend in Santa Barbara, California, an insider exclusively confirms to Us Weekly. The rehearsal dinner will be held Friday, September 26, with the ceremony to follow the next day.

“It will be a huge, A-list, star-studded wedding planned by Mindy Weiss,” the source says, adding that Gomez’s friend Taylor Swift and her Only Murders in the Building costars Martin Short and Ashley Park will be in attendance along with Paris Hilton.

“Guests still do not know exact locations for the rehearsal or the wedding,” the insider tells Us, noting that shuttle buses will pick up attendees at their hotels and take them to the events.

Weiss is one of the most well-connected party planners in the world, having worked on events with celebs including Kim Kardashian, Justin Bieber, Diana Ross and Serena Williams. Back in 2021, she created the enormous, heart-shaped display of roses where Travis Barker proposed to now-wife Kourtney Kardashian.

Gomez, 33, and Blanco, 37, announced their engagement in December 2024 after one year of dating.

“Forever begins now,” Gomez captioned an Instagram post at the time that showed off her new engagement ring.

Blanco, meanwhile, celebrated the milestone moment, in the comments section, writing, “Hey wait… that’s my wife.”

Days later, the music producer was still on cloud nine, resharing the engagement pics via his Instagram Story and writing, “Still can’t believe it!”

During their first joint interview in February, the pair declined to share specifics about their engagement story, but Blanco noted that Gomez didn’t know when it was coming.

“It was the sickest surprise that she had no idea about and it couldn’t have come at a better time because I was starting to f*** up. The thing that makes me so crazy is, you’re getting engaged, and right before, they’re like, ‘Show me how good of a liar you are. Sneak around and try to do this perfect thing without me knowing,’” Blanco told Interview. “At the end, she was starting to get upset because she was like, ‘Why aren’t you coming home tonight?’ And I was like, ‘Oh, I’m just at my friends’ [house].’ I almost did it early. But I nailed it, I think.”

The pair collaborated on several tracks over the years — including 2015’s “Kill Em With Kindness” and “Same Old Love” — before they started dating in 2023. In March, they released a full-length collaborative album titled I Said I Love You First.

“It was really simple,” Gomez told Interview of working with Blanco later on. “We got in the studio to work on a song and we just talked; that’s how easy it was for me. I liked him before he liked me.”

Blanco, however, “literally didn’t know” that Gomez was into him.

“We were in the session and I was like, ‘You should meet some of my friends. I can hook you up with some dates.’ I hadn’t thought about it at all,” he recalled. “And then we were texting afterwards and we decided to get dinner the next day. I guess she thought it was a date and I had no idea it was a date. The second time we hung out, our second date, I was like, ‘Wait, does she like me?’ I was clueless.”

After that, Blanco said “it was easy” to take things to the next level.

“You know when you think you met the right person, you’re like, ‘Oh, my God.’ But it feels so different,” he explained. “The second we started hanging out, I was like, ‘This is my wife.’ I was telling my mom, ‘This is the girl I’m going to marry.’”
