Selena Gomez is looking to part with her Los Angeles home, which was originally custom-built for singer Tom Petty in the 1980s.
Gomez, 33, listed the Encino home for sale earlier this month for nearly $6.5 million. The actress, singer and Rare Beauty founder has owned the home since March 2020, when she bought it from music executive Randy Spendlove for about $4.9 million, records with PropertyShark show. She owns the property through a trust.
The mansion stands on nearly an acre of “park-like” grounds in the Encino’s Rancho enclave, according to the listing with Branden Williams of the Beverly Hills Estates.
Meanwhile on the East Coast, talk show host Sally Jessy Raphael has relisted her grand Tudor-esque mansion in New York’s Hudson Valley with a new price of $5 million, after failing to sell the first time around.
The timber-frame manor house in the village of Pawling features steeply pitched roofs, moody Gothic spires, a four-story Elizabethan tower and richly decorated interiors. Called Elmwood Farm, it sits on 25 acres of land in the Quaker Hill community, about two hours north of Manhattan, and reached via a long gated drive through green lawns.
