Selena Gomez has spent much of the holiday season out of the public eye, but the actress just gave fans an intimate look at how she’s been spending the time with her husband, Benny Blanco. The star posted an Instagram carousel featuring recent photos, many of which include Blanco cuddling up with her.
Gomez was last seen out on Sunday in Kansas City, Missouri. The star joined her longtime friend Taylor Swift at her fiancé Travis Kelce’s football game against the Houston Texans. Gomez is from Texas herself.
Prior to her football outing, Gomez posted a video of herself and Blanco decorating their Christmas tree. “Our first Christmas as a married couple 💒 🌲” she wrote.
Gomez and Blanco got married at the end of September. Swift attended the nuptials and gave a reception speech.
During her October appearance on The Tonight Show, Swift debunked rumors that she brought up her own engagement to Kelce at Gomez’s wedding. She also shared her awe at watching her longtime friend tie the knot.
“I got to see her be the most elegant, gorgeous, not only bride, but just vision that I’ve ever seen in my life,” Swift told host Jimmy Fallon. “I’ve never seen anything so beautiful as her on her wedding day. And she deserves all this happiness. Benny is—he’s him. He’s so funny. He’s the best. So I did make a speech, but I actually made a point not to mention anything about my engagement.
“Nobody wants you to be like, ‘Hey, I know this is your wedding day, but I’m [engaged]!’” she said. “You know, I was like, don’t mention it. Maybe turn it [the ring] around, you know what I mean? This is her day. I did do some light teasing about the way that we used to dress in 2008, the year that we met, because you know, we were teenagers and 2008 was quite a year, let me tell you. And so I talked a little about 2008, and I talked about how happy I am for her and just how beautiful it’s been to get to be a part of her life, but I did not make it about me.”
