Shania Twain is celebrating Dolly Parton‘s birthday with an iconic throwback video.
The “That Don’t Impress Me Much” singer, 60, took to Instagram on the country legend’s 80th birthday with a 2003 video where the two appeared on The Oprah Winfrey Show and sang Parton’s iconic song “Coat of Many Colors” together.
Twain introduced the singer by referring to the day as “a life long dream of mine” and that Parton was her “musical and personal hero of all time…and the person that I always wanted to grow up to be.”
Twain also captioned the video with her own birthday wishes for the “9 to 5” singer.
“What a privilege it is to know you… Little miss Twain was so lucky growing up with you as a role model,” she wrote. “We are strong, kick-ass women in country music just like so many before us but you were my true inspiration.”
And fans of course, loved seeing the two together.
“And what a wonderful duet,” one wrote. “I truly appreciate you both musically and as people.”
“[Two] of the most beautiful, humble, and best role model women in music!” added another. “Country music wouldn’t be the same without you both. When they recorded their duet of ‘Coat of Many Colors’ it was beautiful! Felt like a full circle moment for Shania.”
“The emotion behind this performance is remarkable. Happy birthday @dollyparton!!” added a third.
“You two are so darn cute!!” another chimed in.
