Shannen Doherty’s Malibu home has sold for $7.65 million after being listed for $9.45 million in August 2025

Shannen Doherty‘s Malibu home officially has a buyer.
Nearly two years after her July 2024 death from breast cancer, the actress’s longtime Malibu residence has officially sold for $7.65 million.
The home was originally listed for $9.45 million in August 2025. Doherty’s close friend Chris Cortazzo of Compass held the listing, and said all proceeds from the sale will go to Doherty’s estate.

The Charmed star purchased the 5,360-square-foot property for $2.56 million in 2004. It features three bedrooms, three full bathrooms, and is located just minutes away from Malibu’s famous beaches.
“I was fortunate to share an incredibly close bond with Shannen, whose deep and lasting friendship meant the world to me,” Cortazzo told PEOPLE in 2025. “When I sold her the property, she fell in love with it instantly. It was everything she wanted: a private compound with ocean views, a flat piece of land, a lush hedge for seclusion, and a stunning open floor plan.”

“She transformed the home with her signature touch, turning it into one of the most beautiful and inviting spaces for entertaining,” he continued. “The open-concept kitchen flowed effortlessly into the dining and family rooms, framed by glass, all reflecting her love for connection. Shannen cherished a close-knit circle of loved ones, and this home became a sanctuary for her friends and family.”
The open floor plan home features oak floors, wood-beamed ceilings, and antique doors. The great room features a fireplace and a wall of sliding glass doors for easy indoor-outdoor living.

Sweeping views of the ocean are visible through the home’s large windows, and large barn doors connect one space to the next.

The kitchen features an oversized center island and open shelving. One side of the large island has barstool seating, while the other side offers access to the built-in sink, ovens, and dishwasher.

The primary bedroom offers direct access to the home’s pool deck, while the bathroom features dual sinks, a soaking tub, and a standing shower.

Outside, a lap pool surrounded by lounge chairs offers a serene place to relax in the sun. A thick line of hedges creates a sense of peace and privacy.
There’s also a covered terrace with an outdoor fireplace for additional entertaining space.

Doherty first shared with PEOPLE in 2015 that she had been diagnosed with breast cancer. She then had a mastectomy and underwent chemotherapy and radiation treatment.
After revealing on Instagram that she had gone into remission in April 2017, she announced her stage 4 cancer diagnosis three years later in February 2020.
On July 13, 2024, Doherty died at age 53.
The actress’s longtime publicist Leslie Sloane confirmed her death in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE, noting that Doherty “was surrounded by her loved ones, as well as her dog, Bowie,” at the time of her death.
