A fun trailer has been released for the comedy feature Gail Daughtry and the Celebrity Sex Pass, starring Zoey Deutch as Gail, with Jon Hamm, John Slattery, Ken Marino, Miles Gutierrez-Riley, Ben Wang, Joe Lo Truglio, Sabrina Impacciatore, Mather Zickel, Tobie Windham, Matthew Jayson Cwern, Thomas Lennon, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Zac Oyama, and Weird Al Yankovic.
The movie is directed by David Wain (Wet Hot American Summer, The Ten, Role Models, Wanderlust, They Came Together), from a script he co-wrote with Ken Marino.
The film’s synopsis reads: “Small town hairdresser Gail Daughtry (Zoey Deutch) is engaged to her devoted high school sweetheart. Her life takes a turn when Tom ends up meeting, and sleeping, with his “celebrity pass.”
“Gail impulsively joins her friend Otto on a trip to Los Angeles, where a psychic convinces Gail the only way to save her marriage is to “even the scales” with her own celebrity pass: Jon Hamm.
“Thus begins an epic journey into Tinseltown as Gail & Otto join forces with a talent agency assistant, a paparazzo, and actor John Slattery, all in the search for Hamm. Along the way, they collide with celebrities and are hunted by a group of assassins as they get ever closer to finding the elusive star.
