The WGA’s Adapted Screenplay category mirrored last week’s Oscar nominations exactly, with Paul Thomas Anderson’s One Battle and Chloé Zhao & Maggie O’Farrell’s Hamnet joined by Guillermo del Toro’s Frankenstein, Will Tracy’s Bugonia and Clint Bentley & Greg Kwedar’s Train Dreams.
As for the Original Screenplay noms, Ryan Coogler’s Sinners and Ronald Bronstein & Josh Safdie’s Marty Supreme, both Oscar nominees, are joined by David Koepp’s spy thriller Black Bag, Zach Cregger’s Weapons and Mary Bronstein’s If I Had Legs I’d Kick You. That’s a double good…
