The 30-year-old, who has received recognition for her role in Ryan Coogler’s film, Sinners, recently made a stunning appearance at the Golden Globe Awards.
The BAFTA TV Award winner donned a bright yellow dress with a long trail that was flowy overall but fitted right at the baby bump, revealing it.
The fans also praised the artist’s choice of the beautiful gown and praised her after finding out the significant meaning behind its pop yellow colour, which was a Yoruba phrase “Iya ni Wúrà”, meaning, “Mother is golden/gold.”
Wunmi attended the star-studded award show at the Bevelry Hilton in California on Sunday, January 11, 2026.
It is to be noted that the most talked-about star of the night was present at the special event to announce the good news and to accept the Cinematic and Box Office Achievement award on behalf of her cast with the director, Ryan.
Notably, the actress, who played Annie in the popular movie, has also been acclaimed as the Best Supporting Performance by the Gotham Independent Film Awards.
