Ryan Coogler won Best Original Screenplay at the 98th Academy Awards for Sinnersand admitted during his acceptance speech that he was “very nervous.”
The crowd erupted as Coogler was announced the winner. The writer also directed the film starring Michael B. Jordan, Miles Caton, Wunmi Mosaku, Hailee Steinfeld, and Delroy Lindo.
