JOHNSON CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) – A country music artist and SiriusXM radio host is playing in Johnson City this weekend at a legendary local venue.
Sunny Sweeney is bringing her blend of old-school country to The Down Home on Saturday, Aug. 23.
She will be performing songs from her new album, Rhinestone Requiem.
When she’s not on tour, Sweeney hosts shows on SiriusXM’s Outlaw Country and Willie’s Roadhouse.
The Saturday show is from 8-11 p.m.

Sweeney joined Good Morning Tri-Cities via Zoom to talk about playing in a region that means so much to the history of country music.
