Sleaford Mods have announced a UK and Ireland tour for 2026, and teased that more new music is coming. Find all the details below.

The post-punk duo – comprising Jason Williamson and Andrew Fearn – are due to hit the road early next year.

Kicking off at the legendary Barrowland Ballroom in Glasgow on Friday February 6, the forthcoming trek also includes stops in Manchester, Leeds, Liverpool, Cardiff, Dublin, Belfast, Cork, Oxford, Nottingham, Bristol and Brighton.

The run of dates is set to conclude with a headline performance at the O2 Academy Brixton in London on Saturday March 7.

“We took a year off ’cause I needed to get my nails did, and now we’re itching to get back out there and play live,” said frontman Williamson. “We released a new single ‘Megaton’ last week, it’s an absolute banger so we’re buzzing to play that live for the first time.”

He went on to hint at further new material on the horizon: “Who knows, we might have a few more new tracks to drop by then. Either way, it’s been a while since we toured, and we’re gagging for it.”

Tickets go on general sale at 10am BST this Friday (September 26) – you’ll be able to buy yours here. Alternatively, fans can access a pre-sale on Wednesday (24) by signing up to Sleaford Mods’ mailing list before midnight tomorrow (23).

The band are donating £1/€1 from every ticket sold to War Child. They previously confirmed that they would be donating the proceeds from ‘Megatron’ to the charity, as part of an ongoing partnership.

Sleaford Mods teamed up with Hot Chip last November on ‘Nom Nom Nom’ and ‘Cat Burglar’, with both of those songs also benefiting War Child. At the start of this year, the duo revealed that they had raised over £47,000 for the charity.

Clare Sanders-Wright, War Child’s Live Music Lead, said in a new statement: “We’re incredibly grateful to Sleaford Mods for their continued generosity and support. Every ticket sold will directly support our work protecting, educating, and standing up for children affected by war, and we can’t thank them and their team enough for standing with us.”

Sleaford Mods’ 2026 UK and Ireland tour dates are:

Sleaford Mods released their latest studio album, ‘UK Grim’, in early 2023. Speaking to NME last October, Williamson revealed that the band were in the process of “starting a new album” at the time.

“We’ve had a few sessions already. Things aren’t so much shaping up; it takes a while to get back into the groove of it,” he continued. “You always go in with: ‘I wanna try this, I wanna try that.’ And you try it and it doesn’t quite work, so eventually you go back to the formula but there is all of this subconscious change – life, I guess – that then applies itself to the formula, and it then changes. Not massively, but it shifts along. So it’s like a chemistry lesson!”

When discussing the sound of the next LP, Williamson told NME: “I wanna go rap-centric, or rant. It’s just gonna be blocks of shouting again – as per usual! [Laughs].

“You learn to fall in love again with the formula. I’m lucky I’ve got Andrew Fearn, really. His music is like a whole universe of selection. It’s like getting into a spaceship and taking your pick for two weeks!”
