The anticipation continues to build ahead of Kenny Chesney‘s new book, HEART*LIFE*MUSIC, with the ‘I Go Back’ hitmaker sharing a new video across socials of him proudly unboxing the manuscript for the very first time. The book drops on November 4th.
In the caption, Chesney underlines how delighted he is with the final edit, after months of crafting it with his co-writer, Holly Gleason, “So excited. So proud. Share the moment”.
During the clip, as the No Shoes Nation figurehead holds up the package, he keenly explains how much he is looking forward to sharing the eclectic vignettes in the book with his fans, “Hey everybody. I have in my hands for the first time my book. The whole, final manuscript. Holly Gleason and I have been working on this since…I don’t know, well, well into last year, so this is the first time that I have my journey in my hands. Crazy. I can’t wait for you guys to go on this journey with us. Thank you very much. I can’t wait for you to read HEART*LIFE*MUSIC”.
HEART*LIFE*MUSIC serves as Kenny Chesney’s first book, with the project being billed as a series of postcards and snapshots from the country legend’s storied, vibrant career.
It will take transport from Knoxville to the US Virgin Islands to Russia – and a host of other fascinating settings in-between – with Chesney and Gleason working hard to offer readers an insight into the former’s creative process, his unique perspective on life and his ascent to become one of the biggest artists in country music.
Gleason is undoubtedly the perfect person to help bring these wonderful stories and nuggets of wisdom to life, with the revered writer a longstanding friend of Chesney’s.
With the final manuscript now ready and Kenny Chesney confirming a couple of weeks ago that he and Holly Gleason had officially finished honing, editing and reworking the project, the November 4th release date now stands tantalisingly on the horizon.
While Chesney’s sustained success is partly down to the fact that he simply keeps releasing fantastic, compelling music, it’s also thanks to the way in which he laces every single record with his infectious joie-de-vivre and loving, glass-half-full outlook.

It will cap off what’s been a blockbuster year for the ‘Take Her Home’ trailblazer, with Kenny Chesney becoming the first country artist in history to headline the Sphere Las Vegas. Over the course of the rip-roaring run of shows, Chesney was joined by the likes of Megan Moroney, Kelsea Ballerini, Old Dominion, Mac McAnally, David Lee Murphy, Grace Potter and many more incredible guests.
Chesney has confirmed he’ll be returning to the immersive, groundbreaking venue in the summer of 2026, with the country titan continuing to offer fans different outlets and experiences through which they can enjoy his music in a whole new light.
