ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. – “Soul on Fire” is set for a Powell Hall world premiere on Thursday, but tonight at Marcus Ronnie’s cinema, there is a VIP event, featuring John O’Leary and the film’s cast.
As O’Leary tells it, he shouldn’t even be here. Over 90% of his body was burned in a fire when he was a child.
He turned this life-altering event into a best-selling book, and now, his story is being shared on the big screen. Cast members say “Soul on Fire” wrapped up its filming in St. Louis earlier this year.
The film depicts O’Leary and his journey in overcoming adversity, and how he later became a best-selling author, as well as motivational speaker.
