Spider-Man 4 Set Photos Give Likely First Glimpse at Sadie Sink’s Character

New photos taken from the set of Spider-Man 4, also known as Spider-Man: Brand New Day, have some fans convinced they’ve figured out who Sadie Sink is playing in the MCU.

Spider-Man 4 is currently in production. The Marvel Studios and Sony Pictures movie will see Tom Holland reprise his role as Peter Parker/Spider-Man, while Zendaya and Jacob Batalon are also returning as Michelle “MJ” Jones-Watson and Ned Leeds.

Who do fans think Sadie Sink is playing in Spider-Man 4?

Stranger Things’ Sadie Sink has been cast in the movie, though it has not yet been announced who she is playing. Some fans are convinced they’ve spotted Sink donning blonde hair in new Spider-Man 4 set photos.

This has led some to believe that she’s playing Gwen Stacy in the film.

Having said that, there’s no confirmation that Sink is actually the one being photographed in those photos, and others are unconvinced that it’s actually her. Plot details for Spider-Man: Brand New Day remain under wraps at this time, meaning there’s no way of knowing yet if Gwen actually is in the script or factors into the story.

The Bear’s Liza Colón-Zayas has also been cast in the Marvel movie; although, like Sink, it has not been revealed who she’s playing. Jon Bernthal, meanwhile, is returning as Frank Castle/Punisher in the film, while Mark Ruffalo will reprise his Bruce Banner/Hulk role. Additionally, Michael Mando is coming back to the MCU as Mac Gargan/Scorpion, a character who hasn’t been seen since 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming.

Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released in United States theaters on July 31, 2026, as part of Phase 6 of the MCU. Avengers: Doomsday follows that on December 18, 2026, while the sequel, Avengers: Secret Wars, then arrives a year later on December 17, 2027.
