It’s that time of year again. Everyone waits for their Spotify Wrapped. While we wait, Spotify has launched a new feature called “Listening Stats.” It gives users a weekly snapshot of their streaming habits. Think of it as a mini version of the annual Wrapped review.
Weekly Mini Wrapped – “listening stats”
Every week you can see which artists and songs you’ve listened to the most. You can also create curated playlists from those results. The mini Wrapped stays available for four weeks. Like the yearly Wrapped, you can share these weekly stats on social media, WhatsApp, or Instagram. You can even send them directly to friends through Spotify’s new messaging feature. Spotify says weekly highlights include milestones, new discoveries, and fan moments. Another great feature: the stats page lets you build playlists based on your current favorites and predicted future picks.
“Listening Stats” is free for both Premium and Free users in over 60 markets. To use it, tap your profile image, open the menu, and select the “Listening Stats” tab. From there, view your top artists, songs, and insights. Tap Share to post your weekly stats or individual highlights.
If you use Apple instead of Spotify, you’ve seen something similar. Last year, Apple introduced a monthly version of its annual Replay feature. It’s built into the app experience for devices running iOS 18.1 or later.
