“St. Denis Medical” is adding a plethora of guest stars for its upcoming second season on NBC.
Variety has learned exclusively that Kristen Schaal (“Bob’s Burgers,” “What We Do in the Shadows’), Lauren Weedman (“Sirens,” “Hacks”), Frankie Quiñones (“This Fool,” “What We Do in the Shadows”), Lauren Lapkus (“The Big Bang Theory,” “The Wrong Missy”), Tim Baltz (“The Righteous Gemstones,” “The Opposition with Jordan Klepper”), Jeremiah Brown and Jonah Beckett (“The Sex Lives of College Girls”) will all guest star in Season 2 of the mockumentary series.

These are the latest guest stars announced for the second season of “St. Denis Medical,” alongside the previously announced Ariana Madix. The series stars Wendi McLendon-Covey, David Alan Grier, Allison Tolman, Josh Lawson, Kahyun Kim, Mekki Leeper, and Kaliko Kauahi.
The logline for the second season states, “After receiving a large private donation, hospital administrator Joyce (McLendon-Covey) bites off more than she can chew while her employees navigate staff shortages, office conflicts, and their own personal lives.”
“St. Denis Medical” Season 2 premieres on Nov. 3 with back to back episodes starting at 8 p.m. ET. It will stream the next day on Peacock.
The series was created by Eric Ledgin and Justin Spitzer. Ledgin serves as showrunner and executive producer. Spitzer, Simon Heuer, Ruben Fleischer, Bridget Kyle and Vicky Luu also executive produce. Universal Television is the studio.
Character Descriptions
Kristen Schaal will play Ashley, a bookish sci-fi enthusiast who has a meet-cute with an unexpected member of the St. Denis family.
Lauren Weedman will play Nurse Pam, a retired charge nurse who comes back to St. Denis to help out while they are understaffed. The excitement felt for the extra help soon dissipates as the staff is reminded of who Pam really is.
Frankie Quiñones will play Leslie, a security guard at St. Denis Medical who is very aware of the ins and outs of the hospital gossip.
Lauren Lapkus will play a pregnant woman accompanying her husband to the hospital after a mishap at their gender reveal party.
Tim Baltz will play a dad-to-be rushed into St. Denis after their gender reveal party goes awry.
Jeremiah Brown, from Peacock’s “Love Island USA,” will play Jeff, a handsome Ultimate Frisbee jock waiting for his roommate to get discharged from St. Denis Medical.
Jonah Beckett will play Kyle, a college student whose mysterious illness is stumping the doctors at St. Denis.
