Crowds filled the Third Street Promenade on March 14 as Downtown Santa Monica hosted St. Paddy’s Day on the Promenade, a festive street celebration marking the start of St. Patrick’s Day weekend.
The free event transformed the 1300 block of the Promenade into a lively gathering space with Irish-themed décor, live music, games and an outdoor bar inside the city’s newly launched Entertainment Zone.
Revelers dressed in shades of green danced to the sounds of Shamrock Sean and the Irish Cabbage Band, while visitors enjoyed photo booths, trivia and interactive activities throughout the night.
The celebration ran from 6 to 9 p.m., drawing locals and visitors alike for an evening of music, drinks and community spirit in the heart of downtown Santa Monica.
