Advance discount tickets go on sale July 15. To celebrate the 250th birthday of the United States, the fair is introducing a Fair Fan Pass. The pass offers gate admission for the entire run of the fair. Only 250 passes will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets can be purchased at the official state fair website.
Talley Amusements will return as the carnival ride operator. The event will include live entertainment, music, traditional fair food and unique attractions.
The fair features the largest livestock show in Louisiana. The Louisiana Rodeo Cowboys Association Finals Rodeo is scheduled for Oct. 30 through Nov. 1.
The State Fair of Louisiana began in 1906. Officials will continue safety protocols established in 2023. These measures include surveillance cameras and a strictly enforced clear bag policy. Security details are available on the fair website.
