“Late Show” host Stephen Colbert on Thursday offered some parting words to Attorney General Pam Bondi.

But there’s no way to know what most of them are.

Bondi, who was fired by President Donald Trump on Thursday, released heavily redacted versions of the files related to late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who was once close friends with Trump.

Colbert followed suit in his own message.

“In tribute to Pam Bondi, I offer this heartfelt farewell,” he said, holding up a letter that was entirely redacted except for five words: “Dear Pam,” and “Sincerely, Stephen Colbert.”

One of the reasons Trump reportedly fired Bondi is that he was unhappy with how she handled the release of files related to the late convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, who was once his friend.

Colbert found that hard to believe.

“Saying that the villain of the Epstein files is Pam Bondi is like saying the lead in ‘Die Hard’ is the dad from ‘Family Matters,’” Colbert said.

He also read some of Trump’s announcement, in which the president said Bondi would be “transitioning to a much needed and important new job in the private sector.”

Colbert broke out his Trump impression.

“It’s a much-needed job at a very important farm upstate. There’ll be lots of room for her to run around. Unfortunately, we can’t go visit her,” he said. “Now let’s go to the strip mall and get you a new attorney general, buddy.”
