Earlier this month, the pair attended the premiere of Season 5 of the show, a series which begins streaming today (26 November.

Who is Elizabeth Yu?
Elizabeth Yu is a Korean-American actress born in New Jersey, who was inspired to pursue a career on screen after participating in school plays and theatre camps.
She began her career by starring in indie films before moving on to bigger studio projects and landing her most notable role to date as Azula in Netflix’s Avatar: The Last Airbender.
Elizabeth’s role as a fiery and complex princess was widely praised, and she is now regarded as Hollywood’s most promising young actress.
When she’s not acting, she enjoys art, singing, and hockey, and keeps her personal life out of the public spotlight.
Gaten Matarazzo and Elizabeth Yu’s relationship
Gaten and Elizabeth met in 2018 and have mutual friends. They began dating later that year after bonding over theatre, school activities, and mutual friends, according to Poprant.
According to reports, that summer, they became a couple after spending a lot of time together.
The couple often keeps their relationship private, apart from Gaten sharing social media posts about it.
In June 2019, they attended Gaten’s high school semi-formal dance, and he shared snaps of their outing on Instagram.
In September 2019, Matarazzo told how his family and siblings got along with her. Speaking to US Weekly at Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights event, he said, “My brother and my sister get along with her great.”

In 2019, the pair marked their first anniversary by sharing sweet posts and family moments on Instagram.
Gaten wished Yu a happy anniversary in one post and added, “I can’t believe that I’ve been with this gorgeous girl for an entire year… I love you so much, and I don’t think that there is any other way I would’ve wanted to spend this last year. I look forward to spending more time with you. Happy anniversary, my love.”
During the 2020 Covid lockdown, they reportedly spent time at home, baking, watching shows, caring for their pets, and supporting each other’s auditions.
In 2022, they attended numerous red-carpet events together, including the premiere of Stranger Things Season 4.
Around the same time, Yu landed her first big film and TV roles, and Gaten often heaped praise on her achievements in social media posts.
In May 2022, Guten also revealed in an interview with Esquire that the pair live in his New Jersey apartment, along with three cats.
