Strictly Come Dancing is back for more with its first live show of the series this weekend – and the dances the celebrities will perform have finally been revealed.
The official Strictly Instagram page confirmed the routines on Friday morning, with a clip showing each pairing showing off a small snippet of what’s to come.
None of the pairings will be voted off the BBC dance competition this week, but it marks the first time the public will have a chance to see the celebrities on the floor.
The video confirmed that Vicky Pattison would be performing the Cha Cha Cha, something she teased yesterday while appearing on Lorraine, to Ella Eyre’s Best Of My Love.
The former Geordie Shore star revealed that she had been training hard for the ‘spicy’ routine, saying: ‘We get the spicy one out the way first.’
Thomas Skinner and pro partner Amy Dowden will take on the Paso Double to Hotei’s Battle Without Honour Or Humanity, while Drag Race star La Voix performs the American Smooth to Chappell Roan‘s Pink Pony Club.

The dances the new celebrity contestants will perform, and their choice of music, has finally been confirmed by the official Strictly Instagram page

It comes after Dani Dyer was forced to pull out of the competition due to injury
Alex Kingston will perform the Viennese Waltz to Michael Buble’s Cry Me A River, and Chris Robshaw will take to the floor with a Samba to EMF’s Unbelievable.
Ellie Goldstein will join pro partner Vito Coppola on the floor to perform a Cha Cha Cha to Ariana Grande’s Yes, And?, while Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink performs the Quick Step to The Fratellis Chelsea Dagger.
ITV daytime star Ross King will perform the Cha Cha Cha to Katy Perry’s California Girls, while Stefan Dennis will take on the Foxtrot to the Neighbour’s theme tune.
Lewis Cope will Jive to The Temptations’ Get Ready, while TikTok star George Clarke tackles the American Smooth to Myles Smith’s Stargazing.
The Samba will also be tackled by Balvinder Sopal, to KC and the Sunshine Band’s Shake Your Booty, and Harry Aikines-Aryeetey aka Gladiator’s Nitro will take on the Cha Cha Cha to Salt N Pepa’s Push It.
Finally, Karen Carney will tackle the jive to Blondie’s One Way or Another.
It comes as bosses were left scrambling for a solution after Dani Dyer was forced to pull out of the competition due to injury earlier this week.
But it has since been revealed that Amber Davies has been announced as the new star joining the show.
During an appearance on This Morning, Strictly’s head judge Shirley Ballas admitted that show bosses were ‘hustling and bustling’ to find a solution.

Drag Race star La Voix will perform a routine to hit song Pink Pony Club by Chappell Roan

Vicky and pro partner Kai Widdrington will take on a ‘spicy’ Cha Cha Cha routine
She said: ‘I did speak to the executive producer [about a replacement] to try to get an answer for you and they’re hustling and bustling to see what they can do, we’re a dancer down.
‘So, either, someone won’t go home the first week or something like that. But let’s hope that someone else will get the opportunity.’
The Daily Mail broke the news that Dani, 29, one of the show’s favourites, had to bow out on Tuesday, after fracturing her ankle during a training rehearsal on Friday.
Dani later confirmed this in a statement and said: ‘I had a fall on Friday in rehearsals and landed funny. I thought I had rolled my foot but it swelled up badly over the weekend and after an MRI scan yesterday, it turns out I have fractured my ankle.
‘Apparently doing the quickstep on a fracture is not advisable (!!) and the doctors have said I am not allowed to dance so l’ve had to pull out of the show.
‘To say I’m heartbroken is the biggest understatement. I am so going to miss dancing with Nikita but will of course be watching closely and cheering all the couples on.’
The accident occurred before Dani even got to perform one routine.
Dani appeared on last Saturday’s launch show where it revealed she had been partnered with Nikita Kuzmin, 27.

Pro dancer Dianne Buswell and her partner Stefan Dennis will dance to the Neighbours theme song
The launch show had been pre-recorded before her accident took place.
Just days ago, mother-of-three Dani, who is married to footballer Jarred Bowen said: ‘I’m absolutely petrified about dancing live on Saturday nights.‘
In a statement, BBC bosses confirmed that the door would be left open for ‘heartbroken’ Dani to return next year, saying they ‘hope to welcome her back to the ballroom in the future.’
Sarah James, Executive Producer for BBC Studios said: ‘Dani has brought so much passion, joy and enthusiasm to Strictly, and her partnership with Nikita was off to the most sensational start.
‘Everyone on the show is incredibly sad that she’s no longer able to compete in this year’s series. We send her all our love and best wishes for a swift recovery, and we very much hope to welcome her back to the ballroom in the future.’
This injury will no doubt bring back memories for Dani of her first reality TV stint on ITV2 series Survival Of The Fittest, which was also cut short after she was forced to pull out on the first day following a shoulder injury.
Dani is also the second star to pull out of this year’s series before the first live show has even aired, as Game Of Thrones star Kristian Nairn withdrew from the lineup due to ‘unexpected medical reasons.’
It’s not been confirmed whether Dani will be replaced by another star in the Strictly lineup, though she is far from the first star who has been forced to pull out of the show due to an injury.
