The latest songs and dance routines for all the Strictly Come Dancing couples have been announced, and fans are already very excited for one particular routine. Drag queen La Voix is taking on the Couples Choice to ‘Don’t Rain On My Parade’ by Barbra Streisand, and viewers think it will have her topping the leaderboard.
The RuPaul’s Drag Race runner-up was sadly in the dance off last week alongside Gladiator Harry Aikines-Aryeetey, after she stumbled her Foxtrot. But some believe this weekend could see her turn things around.
“OMG! LA VOIX & ALJAŽ!! COUPLE’S CHOICE to BABS! I can feel Blackpool calling,” one wrote on Instagram. Another fan added: “La Voix doing a couple’s choice to Funny Girl? Top of the leaderboard for her.”
“Perfect song for La Voix, especially coming back from a dance off!” a third said.
Talking about what to expect from the routine, La Voix said on It Takes Two: “It’s from Funny Girl, so the name fits. It’s all been about the dancing, and the technique and trying to nail all these styles. This week it’s going to be an absolute performance, it’s going to bring the performance. La Voix is a showgirl, she’s a performer, it’s all about the entertainment and the show, so you’re going to get a full on show this week.”

Elsewhere on the show, Amber Davies will be doing a Paso Doble to ‘Dream On’ by Aerosmith, Balvinder Sopal is dancing an American Smooth to ‘My Guy’ by Mary Wells and Alex Kingston is taking on the Waltz to ‘Weekend in New England’ by Barry Manilow.

Strictly Come Dancing airs on Saturdays on BBC One, while spin-off Strictly: It Takes Two airs on weeknights on BBC Two. Both shows are available to stream on BBC iPlayer.
