Families looking for a way to enjoy live music, local food and drinks as the sun sets over a vineyard can head to Westport Rivers Vineyard and Winery’s Sunset Music Concert Series.
The events are held Fridays from 6 to 8 p.m., according to a community announcement. The concerts take place on the vineyard grounds.
Attendees can expect a variety of local food trucks, including Rhode Rage, Farmers Feast, Fancheezical, Gnarly Vines, Blount Fine Foods, Tacofied, Bootleg BBQ and Westport Creamery. Wine, beer, and food will be available for purchase. No outside alcohol or food is permitted.
Tickets are $25 per carload and $18.75 for Wine Club members. They can be purchased at westport-rivers-vineyard-winery.obtainwine.com/collection/events.

Westport Rivers grows 80 acres of grapes, including Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Riesling, Rkatsiteli, Pinot Gris, Marquette and Saperavi, according to the announcement.
The vineyard has received national and international recognition, with its wines served in two White Houses and featured in publications such as The New York Times, Wine Enthusiast and The Wall Street Journal.
The vineyard’s summer hours are 1-7 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 1-5 p.m. Friday and 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Saturday.
