Super Bowl Sunday splits into two tracks: stadium-adjacent events near Levi’s Stadium and watch-and-party options across the Bay Area.

On Location’s premium tailgate offerings are planned near the stadium, while other organizers are marketing chef-driven pregame events within walking distance. Guy Fieri’s Flavortown Tailgate is also scheduled at the Cow Palace as a free family-friendly event featuring Loud Luxury, Tucker Wetmore and “surprise celebrity and athlete appearances.”

The night ends on the field with the presentation of the Vince Lombardi Trophy to the Super Bowl champions.

But not everyone is expected to attend. President Donald Trump has said he will skip the game, citing the distance to California and calling the entertainment “terrible.”

Brands, commercials — and notable absences

The celebrity presence extends beyond stages and parties. Brands are leaning heavily into Super Bowl marketing, with stars tied to campaigns and teased commercials, including Sabrina Carpenter, Lady Gaga, Andy Samberg, Emma Stone and Taika Waititi.
