Kyle Fraser has welcomed his first child with wife Maggie Turner.
The Survivor 48 winner announced in January that the couple were expecting a daughter.
Fellow Survivor alums, including Fraser’s onscreen ally Kamilla Karthigesu, celebrated the news with congratulatory messages.
Kyle Fraser may not be the champ of Survivor 50, but he still has some pretty big news to celebrate.
The Survivor 48 winner announced on Monday that he and his wife, Maggie Turner, have welcomed their first child together, a baby girl named Wyatt.
“Meet our daughter, Wyatt,” the couple captioned a joint Instagram post, which contained photos of their first two weeks as parents. “She decided to surprise us one month early, and we couldn’t be happier.”
“She’s named for one of our favorite people, her Uncle Wyatt. Being her parents for the last two weeks has already been the greatest joy,” the couple continued.

The happy surprise was met with plenty of love from fans and Fraser’s fellow Survivor alums.
“Congratulations!! Welcome to the world,” wrote Survivor: David vs Goliath‘s Christian Hubicki, who welcomed a child of his own before competing on Survivor 50.
Kamilla Karthigesu, who was Fraser’s partner in crime during Survivor 48, and who then reunited with him for season 50, also expressed her excitement in the comments section, writing in all caps, “CONGRATS CAN’T WAIT TO SPOIL HER 🥹❤️.”
“New favorite Fraser,” joked fellow Survivor 48 finalist Eva Erickson, while their former competitor Mitch Guerra wrote, “Uncle Mitch can’t wait to hold my little Wyatt girly.”
The couple were also congratulated by Survivor veteran Cirie Fields, Survivor 49 winner Savannah Louie, and their fellow season 50 alums, Rizzo Velovic and Rick Devens.
Fraser has celebrated a series of major life events over the past few years. First, the undercover lawyer won the title of Sole Survivor in season 48. Almost immediately after his victory, he returned to Fiji for the Survivor‘s landmark 50th season. Unfortunately, he didn’t make it past the premiere episode, suffering a serious injury during one of the very first challenges of the season. After a bad landing on his leg, it was revealed that Fraser had torn his Achilles, forcing him to leave the game.

But Fraser took the disappointment in stride, telling Entertainment Weekly after the episode aired, “I’ve learned a ton from this injury. I’ve come out completely stronger. I’m stronger than I’ve ever been.”

By that point, Fraser and his wife had already announced they were expecting their first child, which the reality star listed among the many things he has to celebrate.
“My wife is pregnant, we’re expecting a girl in two months. I have a new job. I’m a music attorney now for a major record label. And you saw me playing that game,” he told EW. “Life is only on the up and up. When I was out there, I hadn’t even a chance to spend a dollar of my million dollars yet.”
