A Littlehampton girl has featured in a block-buster movie.
Lucia Smith, aged 10, appears in a scene with young Glinda in the new movie, Wicked: For Good.
The young actress features in the flashback scene, where Glinda is seen celebrating her birthday party as a child.
Lucia attends Pauline Quirke Academy of Performing Arts, in Worthing, where she joined an agency and submitted her audition tape for the “confidential feature film” at the end of April this year.
After finding out she got the role, filming took place during the May half-term in London however Lucia had to keep the entire thing under wraps until the film came out last Friday (November 21).

Lucia said: “I was really pleased when I found out but I wasn’t allowed to tell anyone until the film came out.
“It was very hard because people kept coming up to me at school asking, ‘what movie is it’.”
Wicked: For Good is the second part to the stage musical adaptation, set before and during the Wonderful Wizard of Oz movie.
The film stars Ariana Grande, who plays Glinda, and Cynthia Erivo, who plays Elphaba, following the story of their unlikely friendship.
The hugely-anticipated movie, directed by Jon M. Chu, has been recognised as the biggest launch of a Broadway film adaptation, surpassing Box Office figures made for the first film in its opening weekend. Parts of the first movie were filmed in Sussex.
Speaking about the experience, Lucia said: “It was very fun. It took a long time [to film] but it was really fun to do.
“It was a fantastic experience.”
Lucia’s mother, Clare added: “To be her first audition and to get a role in something so big, it’s amazing.”

During filming, Lucia also had the chance to meet Ariana Grande, alongside the other children taking part.
Lucia even had the chance to briefly tell Ariana that she was a fan of Sam and Cat – a popular Nickelodeon show starring Ariana Grande and Jennette McCurdy.
She said: “It was really exciting. Jon, our director, said he had someone he’d like us to meet and we all went into a room. All of a sudden, Ariana came in.
“The screaming hurt my ears.”
Lucia shared how despite having already seen the movie three times, she already plans to watch it again.
