The annual Top Dog Entertainment music and community celebration returns this December
Top Dawg Entertainment is getting into the holiday spirit with its full talent roster.
On Dec. 18, it will host its 12th Annual TDE Holiday Charity Concert and Community Celebration featuring performances from Sza, Doechii and Schoolboy Q.
Admission is free, so long as attendees donate an unwrapped toy, new clothes, shoes or other donations intended for residents of Nickerson Gardens, where the concert will take place (and where TDE was born). Gates for the concert open at 10 a.m., and entry access can be found at 114th Street and Success Avenue. Rideshare is encouraged.
The concert lineup also includes Jay Rock, Isaiah Rashad, SiR, Ray Vaughn, Ab-Soul, Zacari, Kal Banx and yet-to-be-announced special guests. In the past, cameos have included Kendrick Lamar, Rihanna, Travis Scott, Glorilla, Big Sean and A$AP Ferg.
The 2024 concert drew 10,000 concertgoers and distributed over $750,000 in toys and clothing donations to families in Watts.
Then, on Dec. 19, the community giveback will unfold from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. The family-friendly day of complimentary programming welcomes kids, teens and adults of Nickerson Gardens for toy distribution, raffles, youth sports activities, barbering services, holiday photo installations, a snow experience and more. Raffles and gift giveaways will kick off at noon in the gym.
TDE Holiday Charity Concert and Community Celebration is presented by Top Dawg Love the Kids and sponsored by Live Nation, Jakks Pacific Toys, Red Bull, UGG, iHeartMedia, SiriusXM, Nike, The Los Angeles County Justice, Care and Opportunities Department, Amazon, Proclub, Interscope Capitol Labels Group, The Los Angeles Rams and PhatMojo. Power 106, iHeartMedia and Girls Make Beats will provide music and DJ programming.
