Unapologetic and empowered, pop punk powerhouse Taylor Acorn has released her highly anticipated sophomore album Poster Child. The album, which features latest singles Crashing Out, Hangman, and Goodbye, Good Riddance, marks Acorn’s first since signing to Fearless Records earlier this year.
In addition to the record, Acorn has also debuted her brand new music video for latest single Home Videos.
Acorn shares: “Home Videos is one of my favorites on the entire record. Growing up is such a privilege but at the same time I find it so weird how far away from our pasts we end up. I find myself a lot of the time dreaming of being back in my childhood and knowing what that feels like again. To see my dad before he passed away, to play sports, to climb trees, there was something at that time that felt so innocent and calm even in the world. I miss it a lot and I’m really proud that we were able to capture the feeling of that in this song.”
Over the last few months, Poster Child has been captivating audiences around the world and garnering support from Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon, Pandora, and more – including placements on Pop Rock, Pop Punk’s Not Dead, The Locker, All New Rock, Women of Rock, Punk, Relationship Goals, Working From Home, Feeling Blue, New in Alternative, and other notable playlists.
Acorn recently took the stage at When We Were Young Festival in Las Vegas, alongside iconic acts including blink-182, Avril Lavigne, Panic! At The Disco, Weezer, and more. She’ll also be performing at Vans Warped Tour in Orlando this November following a captivating performance at the Long Beach date earlier this year. Acorn will close out the year with a full US headline tour, beginning with a special album release show in Nashville on October 29th.

In order to make it in the music industry, you don’t just need talent, you also need to possess a consuming desire to perform that’s ingrained in your DNA. That’s especially true for Taylor Acorn, who has made bold sacrifices in order to pursue her musical dreams. Acorn became interested in performing as a teenager living in Northern Pennsylvania where she started her first pop-punk band and began performing as a solo artist. However her career breakthrough came when she relocated to Nashville in 2014 and connected with producer Dan Swank (All Time Low, Cassadee Pope) and the duo instantly bonded over their mutual love of early 2000s pop-punk.
If Acorn’s 2024 full-length Survival In Motion was her introduction to the world, 2025’s Poster Child shows that she is here to stay—and it also marks the fact that she has signed with Fearless Records after nine years of releasing her music independently. “When people listen to this album I just want them to feel like they’re back in a time period that makes them feel good,” she says. That sense of optimism is evident from the infectious opener People Pleaser to the stripped-down outro of the album closer Masquerade, the latter of which showcases the way Acorn is able to effortlessly express both power and vulnerability with her voice, depending on the feeling that she is trying to articulate in the moment.
