Travis Kelce absolutely mastered his proposal to Taylor Swift.
The superstar said as much while speaking on U.K. chat show The Graham Norton Show today to promote her 12th studio album, The Life of a Showgirl.
“He really crushed it in surprising me,” Swift said. “While we were talking on his podcast, he had a complete garden built out the back of his house to propose in.”
“He went all out–10 out of 10,” she added as she made her first TV appearance since Kelce’s proposal and since the release of her album.
When asked if she would reveal more about their upcoming wedding plans, Swift said
cryptically, “You’ll know.”
“I want to do the album stuff first, and the wedding is what happens after in terms of planning. I think it will be fun to plan,” she explained.
In her new album, Swift sings about her relationship with Kelce, and even drops several Easter eggs about their future together—their engagement, their wedding, and her wish to build a family with him. (Read more about that here.)
The two became engaged in August, and during her show appearance today, Swift debuted her sparkling diamond engagement ring, which paired well with her little black dress adorned with glimmering crystals.
Swift spoke about the ring Kelce gave her during an appearance today on the Heart Breakfast Show. “I had shown him a video,” she said. “I just thought her stuff was so cool. So I had shown him a video like a year and a half ago and he was just paying attention to everything it turns out.”
she added, “When I saw the ring, I was like, ‘I know who made that, I know who made that!’ And also, ‘You listen to me.’”
Over the next few days, as she continues her album rollout, Swift will also appear on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and Late Night With Seth Meyers. Stay tuned.
