Sombr is the internet’s new favorite indie crooner, and he’s only a few years out of high school.
The 20-year-old New York native first caught attention in 2020 when his song “Caroline” began circulating on social media. Since then, he’s grown a dedicated fanbase with viral hits like “Back to Friends” and “Undressed.”
The singer-songwriter, born Shane Michael Boose, has worked with with other Gen Z artists such as Addison Rae and Rachel Chinouriri. He also recently got a shout out from pop sensation Taylor Swift, who named him among her current favorite artists during an appearance on SiriusXM’s “The Morning Mash Up.”
Now he’s out on the road in support of his debut album “I Barely Know Her,” and is already scheduled to perform at next year’s Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival in Southern California.
Sombr is currently headlining his first solo tour, The Late Nights & Young Romance Tour.
