Taylor Swift may have snuck into Selena Gomez’s wedding this Saturday without making a peep, but once she was safely inside the event, the “Fortnight” singer played a big role.
Per a People source, Swift gave a heartfelt speech at Gomez and Benny Blanco’s wedding reception. Ed Sheeran, who has collaborated with Blanco on several albums, also reportedly spoke, as did the newlyweds’ respective parents.
Swift attended the wedding solo, as NFL star beau Travis Kelce had to stay home in Kansas City, Missouri, to prep for a big game.
“At the reception, everyone was letting loose and celebrating them well into the night,” the source told People. “The vibe was so much fun.” They added, “They were glowing all night, and both Selena and Benny couldn’t stop smiling. There was so much love in the room.”
Gomez and Blanco’s much-awaited wedding was held in Santa Barbara, California. The now-married couple rented out the El Encanto hotel for their Friday evening rehearsal dinner, while their Saturday ceremony took place at the Sea Crest Nursery plantation, a private estate in Goleta, overlooking the Pacific Ocean.
Gomez and Blanco were joined by their loved ones, including Swift, Paris Hilton, and Gomez’s Only Murders in the Building costars Martin Short and Steve Martin.
The bride was a vision in a white custom Ralph Lauren gown featuring a halter neckline adorned with romantic, delicate flowers.
“🤍 9.27.25 🤍” Gomez captioned an Instagram post featuring photos from the ceremony. And Blanco sweetly commented, “my wife in real life.”
