Now that the Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce wedding is over, the question is what comes next. A honeymoon, probably. Kelce will go back to the Kansas City Chiefs. Swift might return to the studio. According to The Daily Mail, maybe not. Even though Swift has written about having a family and Travis previously told his brother Jason, “I see it in our future, for sure,” the couple is reportedly “not sure if they’re going to have kids or not.”

“She has such a security situation,” an insider told the outlet. “It’s hard to raise a kid in her world.” Plus, the people around them “have concerns over security issues,” especially since they have also “had people show up to their door.”
For the singer, it’s constant. “She gets so many death threats. There’s people that the FBI knows about. There’s people on a watchlist. There are people that they can’t even find, they can’t track down.” There have been, reportedly, at least a dozen credible threats against Swift.
On top of that, there was a terror attack plot at one of her concerts in Vienna in 2024, which was thwarted.
Years ago, Swift told InTouch that she was on the fence about kids because they “couldn’t live a normal life.”
“It’s impossible not to picture certain scenarios and how you would try to convince them that they have a normal life when, inevitably, there will be strange men pointing giant cameras at them from the time they are babies,” she said then.
Of course, a lot of time has passed. Now she’s married. And Kelce, reportedly, “isn’t scared.”
And now, people are speculating that the two might already be practicing for a baby, with a dog. A dog was seen with the couple in some pictures, which raised fans’ eyebrows. A source told RadarOnline, “Friends have smiled at the rumors because Taylor and Travis have always talked about building a life together. Whether or not the dog is officially theirs, people around them see the excitement as reflecting a couple settling into married life and looking toward the future.”
Another insider said, “Those closest to them believe caring for a pet would be a natural step before having children. They have both embraced the idea of creating a family home together, and that’s why fans have connected the dots so quickly.”
For now, what we know for sure is that Swift won’t slow down after the wedding. During an appearance on BBC Radio 2’s The Scott Mills Breakfast Show in October of last year, she said: “I just saw some fans going, “Well, she’s going to get married and then she’s going to have children and then she’s going to be the last album.”‘
She called that speculation offensive, adding: “It’s not why people get married … so that they can quit their job.”
