A group of Bay Area drag queens are rallying together to celebrate fellow showgirl and pop sensation Taylor Swift‘s new album.
On Oct. 18, a few weeks after Swift releases her 12th studio album, “The Life of a Showgirl,” soon-to-close queer nightclub Oasis plans to host a Swift-themed extravaganza as part of its weekly drag party called Princess.
The event, hosted by Lisa Frankenstein, will feature performances by Bobby Friday, Phoebe Cakes, Sinn E Moan and Comfort Sweet Munro among other drag queens. “Extra lewks” are encouraged among attendees.

Swift is also making the late-night television rounds to promote the record this week. She’s scheduled to appear on “The Graham Norton Show” on Friday, “The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon,” on Monday, Oct 6 and “Late Night with Seth Meyers” on Wednesday, Oct. 8, among other appearances.
