The countdown begins! It’s almost time for Taylor Swift’s new album, The Life of a Showgirl, and the anticipation is in full effect. To commemorate the launch of the pop superstar’s newest studio album, Spotify is bringing fans an immersive pop-up experience in New York City on September 30 through October 2.
Taylor Swift’s The Life of a Showgirl will be celebrated with a pop-up Spotify experience
Taylor announced the release of her new album last August 12, and fans have been on tenterhooks since then. She revealed the stunning album artwork featuring her in full showgirl regalia, looking every bit the global icon.
And now, as the release date looms, Spotify invites fans to mark the milestone in the Big Apple. The Life of a Showgirl: A Spotify Experience will happen at a soon-to-be-announced location in NYC from 12 p.m. to 9 p.m. ET daily from September 30-October 2.
The location is under wraps for now, but will surely be revealed very soon. The event is open to all fans and will feature different sets inspired by Taylor’s music as well as awesome photo opportunities. For eagle-eyed Swifties, there will also be a fun Easter egg hunt.
While Taylor won’t be in attendance, there will still be tons for fans to enjoy.
The anticipation is building! On September 20, Taylor also shared what fans can expect from her newest album. The album will have exclusive photocards as well as poems tied to the new era.
“I just wanted fans to have as many images from this sort of world, this album era, as soon as possible,” she shared. “And so I really spent a lot of time figuring out how I could make the best vinyl product and best packaging and best CD experience they could have.”
Taylor said she was very happy with how the album turned out. And it won’t be long before fans can get their hands on it. For now, they can anticipate the brand new songs, the pop-up, and all the other fun events leading to the release.
